"You Can Do This:  Photo Organizing and Preservation"
 
Participants will learn the best ways to organize and preserve family photos including outsourcing as well as the DIY approach. Starting with quick and easy inventory and organizing tips, we’ll move on to creating a strategic plan to finally get this photo project done!
 
Technology and historical research are opposites, but “tech people” like Thomas are needed to guide today’s genealogists through the maze of options so they can deploy the best apps and devices to break down research brick walls. Thomas MacEntee: author, educator, advocate, entrepreneur, and that “genealogy guy” who helps you accomplish your family history goals.

Chasing Uncle William Through the Wilds of Cyberspace:

Our ancestors should be more alive to us than names and dates on a chart. Follow the amazing life of William Crout, Civil War veteran, hotel owner, rancher, and local character, and learn how it’s possible to reconstruct life stories in surprising detail with resources available online. Along the way, we’ll talk about some sound research methods.
 
Annette Burke Lyttle, CG® owns Heritage Detective, LLC, providing professional genealogical services in research, education, and writing. Annette is a course coordinator for the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy and the British Institute.  She is past president of the Association of Professional Genealogists and editor of The Florida Genealogist.

"Using Artificial Intelligence to Amplfy your Genealogy"
 
Kate will walk us through real-life ways that we can easily learn to improve our research, extract more data, translate, and creatively leverage tools and resources available to tech-embracing genealogists.  She will show us ways that we're already using AI, as well as photo editing and image creation, transcription, translation, research, and creating text with AI.
 

Kate's presentations captivate audiences by seamlessly blending historical context, technical guidance, and well-placed humor that keeps listeners engaged throughout.  Her speaking engagements include RootsTech, Strathclyde Institute for Genealogical Studies, East Coast Genetic Genealogy Conference, the International Congress on Medieval Studies, the Society for German Genealogy in Eastern Europe, the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies, the New England Regional Genealogical Consortium, and the Foundation for East European Family History Studies, in addition to many state and county level organizations.
