DNA is a special interest.  This field is growing exponentially and offers the ability to accomplish genealogical research that could not be successfully completed by any other means.  Learning how to analyze DNA test results will soon be an essential skill for all genealogists, just as using a computer for research has become an essential skill today.

Bio of Julia Mathews McIntyre

Julia Mathews McIntyre has been an avid genealogist for over 30 years. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering and was involved in Design Engineering Management during her professional life. After retirement she found that her analytical background was an asset in conducting genealogical research and analysis.

She has maternal ancestors from German-speaking countries who emigrated in the mid to late 1800s, and paternal ancestors primarily from Ireland and England, many of whom came to the US before 1700. She comes from a large clan with historically large families, offering unlimited opportunities for research.

There will be NO Society business meeting following this event.
